This piece draws on experienced moments of motion and connection, guided by the fusion of two poems I wrote last year.
Questions for the listener:
1. Do you find the voice inflections effective? Especially in the places where my voice shifts to almost a whisper, towards the end.
2. Do you feel that the arc of the piece is well-defined enough to produce a coherent story? With this question I'm referring specifically to the background sounds, and if their layering/ transitions effectively build up to a climactic moment just before the silence. Comments on sounds that are or aren't effective, or places where transitions could be smoother or less smooth, are examples of the things I would like to know from your perspective.
